Thirsch-Wines:

Thirsch wines are full-bodied, with an individual style and reflect our way of working with nature.
Thirsch is the historical name of our farm.

Weingarten:

5-11 year old vines grow on Opok soils.

“Opok” is a solidified sedimentary rock, formed by sea and river deposits.

The soil has a high clay content, can store heat well and offers the grapes optimal ripening conditions.

Vinification:

Short maceration time, fermented uncooled in stainless steel tanks, aged for 23 months on the fine lees. Bottled without filtration in September 2022.
