25 year old vines grow on Opok soils. “Opok” is a solidified sedimentary rock, formed by marine and river deposits.
The soil has a high clay content, can absorb warmth well and provides optimal ripening conditions for the grapes.
Fermented on the skins for 3 weeks, aged in wooden barrels.
